Nota UtilWill Smith interpreta a Nicky, un estafador profesional que decide ayudar a una joven novata del mundo de la criminalidad llamada Jess. Ella busca acercarse más en la relación con Nicky y tras pasar un tiempo juntos comienzan a enamorarse y empiezan una relación amorosa. Él se dedica a enseñarle tretas para que aprenda mejor a estafar y robar. Pero cuando menos se lo espera, Nicky rompe la relación de repente. El motivo es que una mujer perteneciente a su pasado ha vuelto a su vida, reaparece en Buenos Aires en un circuito de carreras en el que hay apuestas muy elevadas pero ella intentará echar los planes de Nicky por tierra y aprovechar su lado de estafador.
